On behalf of Pershore RNA I would like to thank each and every person who participated in Pershore's Remembrance Parade and Service this year.
Considering it was our first year at organising the parade, it went off smoothly and I was thrilled at the turnout - particularly all the youngsters who are the future of this town. Special thanks go to St John's Ambulance who kindly agreed to break tradition and march at the rear, doing a fantastic job keeping the parade together this year. Also, I am extremely grateful to my own RNA Members for all their continued hard work and Pershore Town Council where Ann Dobbins and Chris Parsons have worked particularly hard in organising the service alongside Rev Kenneth Crawford.
It has been and always will be Pershore's Remembrance Parade and Service and I cannot express just how grateful we all are to all the people of the town who lined the streets to support us. Long may we continue to honour those who served our Country. Ted Annis, Chairman - Pershore and District Royal Naval Association, Farleigh Road, Pershore, Worcestershire
