YOUNGER pupils at Pershore High School were present for the rededication of the school’s Roll of Honour on Wednesday to remember those past students who gave their lives in defence of their country.
In a moving ceremony attended by a representatives from the Royal British Legion, the Royal Naval Association, Rotary, Lions, Worcestershire County Council, Pershore Town Council and others, the names of those young men “who gave their today for our tomorrow” were read out, and a minutes silence observed.
Head teacher, Clive Corbett, said: “It’s important the younger students take away the message from this brief but very important ceremony."
