PERSHORE looks set to expand by a further 132 homes after planning permission was agreed for a new housing development off Three Springs Road, despite a request to defer it.
During a development control committee meeting on Thursday, Pershore town councillor, Peter Merry, asked Wychavon councillors to delay the application by Bloor Homes while more information was provided.
However, after hearing councillor John Grantham and a spokesman for Bloor Homes speak in favour of the plans, the committee gave the development the go ahead.
