THE dust has barely settled around the amplifiers following Stratford's last Music Live event, but the organisers are already starting work on next year's aural extravaganza.
The event was a huge success, according to organiser Val Harris, but the team is hoping next year's will be better and for that they need more help from musicians and local businesses.
Music Live 2000 saw nine venues around the town centre filled with live music from rock and pop to jazz and classical and, thanks to the generosity of the venue management, admission was free to all.
All of the festival's costs were met by local sponsors and supporters, but to ensure the success of next year's event, which is scheduled for the weekend of June 30, more help is needed.
The organisers will be meeting at Stratford Town Hall next Monday from 7.30pm and anyone who would like to be involved can turn up on the night or contact Mrs Harris on 01789 294070.
