KING Edward VI School's Under-15 rugby side recorded an emphatic victory over Coventry's King Henry VIII earlier this week in round three of the Daily Mail Schools Cup.
The Stratford boys ran in five tries in a 35-0 success and they now look forward to playing another Coventry-based side, Coundon Court.
Peter Baldwin and Joel Buggins both crossed for two tries with John Harrison making up the nap hand. Chris Cottrell added the extra points in all cases in a handsome victory.
Coundon will prove a tough test after defeating seeded Solihull School 15-3 in round three.
The KES under-18 squad have reached the same stage in their quest for national glory and a place at Twickenham and were scheduled to entertain Warwick School yesterday afternoon.
