AUDIENCES in Stratford and Shipston are spoilt for choice this year for family Christmas shows organised by Live and Local.
Wild Wood Theatre Company is turning fairy tales on their head in Jill and the Beanstalk and the Custard Factory Theatre Company is touring The Gloop Monster, a show full of disgusting glooping noises.
Coventry-based Wild Wood had a hit last year with Brer Rabbit and this year present an adventure in cyberspace where our heroine gets sucked into a computer game to do battle with fairy tale characters.
People can catch this show at the Townsend Hall in Shipston at 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday).
Custard Factory Theatre Company from Birmingham is presenting The Gloop Monster which is in the same vein as the Harry Potter stories with adventure and odd goings-on.
Amethyst, a millionaire pupil, arrives at the strangest school in England and suddenly words start disappearing from the dictionary. It's up to her and Spider, the school nerd, to find out what's going on, why the chemistry master is so weird and what's the horrible thing in the school basement.
This show can be caught at Aston Cantlow Village Hall at 7pm on December 15.
