Amateur drama and operatic societies, youth groups and schools should be polishing their acts ready for not just one, but two prestigious dramas in Worcestershire this year.
The Worcestershire Theatre Festival is due to take place at the Norbury Theatre, Droitwich, from March 5-10 and entries are not restricted to plays. Music, dance and mime performances are all welcome provided they have a plot, theme or story.
The winners from this county go through to the Midlands round of the All England Theatre Festival which this year is being hosted by Worcestershire and takes place in Evesham Arts Centre on April 28.
