DANNY Lennon got on the end of a length of the field move eight minutes before the break but he scooped his shot over the top from a tight angle after a move involving at least seven Evesham players.
The Robins were stringing some fine moves together as they sought a second goal that would surely be enough to win the game given the fact that the home side haven't conceded goal for more than 300 minutes.
Simon Fitter gor on the end of two more flowing moves with half-time looming but saw his speculative volley from 30 yards easily held by Joe Murrell and his second effort flashed well wide.
