Corby Town 0, Evesham United 0
TROY Wood wasted another great opening after 29 minutes when he found himself clear on goal.
It may have been his lack of recent match action but the loan recruit delayed his shot and allowed Mark Warren to put in a timely tackle.
Corby top scorer Stephen Diggin added to the list of missed chances after 43 minutes when he skipped past Nathan Vaughan but saw his shot from a tight angle hit the side-netting with Anthony Watson covering on the line.
The half-time whistle arrived with the Robins holding the team for whom victory would take to the top of the table.
