CORBY Town will provide the stiffest of Southern League Premier Division tests for Evesham United this afternoon.

The Steelmen have lost just two of their 13 top flight matches and have found the net 12 times in their last three victoories that include a 4-0 home win 5-1 and 3-1 successes on the road.

They have won nine of their 13 games and, in Stephen Diggin, boast the section's joint top scorer with ine goals.

Matthew Nolan has also netted six times but the Rockingham Road outfit won't have it easy against the Robins who have only lost two league games in their dozen outings so far.

United are unbeaten in six Premier Division matches and are seeking a third successive league victory since their FA Cup exit at Torquay a fortnight ago.

Paul West's squad will show several changes to the one that was named at Plainmoor.

Skipper Steve Lutz sits out a second successive Saturday with a stress fracture in his foot, Gary Hay is in America while the manager has released Danny Lennon, Tom Etheridge and Michael Batchelor and allowed Leon Woodley to go on loan to Bromsgrove Rovers.

Those decisions have backfired on West this afternoon when Michael Hayden failed a late fitness test and he was named on the list of substitutes along with Lutz with neither able to take part in the match.

James Blake, brother of former Evesham player Adam, comes in for his debut after signing from Redditch, while former Studley man Robert Ager joins Steven Hands and Allando Davis on the bench.

The United starting line-up is Nathan Vaughan, Anthony Watson, Joe Clarke, skipper Danny Hodnett, Steve Luckett, Mark Hands, Simon Fitter, Danny Scheppel, Mark Owen, Troy Wood and James Blake.
