ANTHONY Watson produced a second clearance off the line after 16 minutes to preserve the stalemate.
The Glassboys broke after an Evesham attack ended when Mark Owen appeared to be fouled. Steven Hands stumbled and left Linden Dovey with a clear run at goal. He skipped past Nathan Vaughan only to see his shot cleared for a corner by the covering Watson.
Steve Lutz was booked for moaning about the referee not giving the foul and he was followed into the referee's book by Steven Hands in the 28th minute after a foul on Linden Dovey.
Another long throw caused United problems and Vaughan's poor punch was put back into the six-yard area where Steve Luckett hacked clear.
A free-kick then caused more problems and Vaughan saved well from Leon Broadhurst who latched on to a header from Nathan Bennett.
The action moved swiftly down to the other end where both Owen and Simon Fitter were left on the floor in the penalty area after a couple of lunging challenges that referee Danny Grattan felt were fair.
