A DRIVER has left the scene of a crash in which firefighters had to cut two people from a car. 

The 'head-on' crash happened between two cars in Woodlands in Evesham.

Police and ambulance services also attended the scene which happened last night (December 1). 

A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue spokesperson said: "Two crews – one each from Evesham and Broadway Fire Stations – were called at 7.15pm on December 1 to an RTC involving a small vehicle in Woodlands, Evesham.

"The incident involved two vehicles which had collided head-on.

"Drivers’ and passengers’ doors were removed using cutting equipment.

"The driver of one vehicle left the scene while two casualties were extricated by fire service personnel before being handed over to the ambulance service.

"Police and air ambulance also attended."

West Mercia Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
