RAIL passengers faced delays and disruption across Worcester due to a 'points failure' at a city railway station.
The points failure happened at Worcester Shrub Hill station, causing some lines to be blocked this morning.

A spokesperson for GWR said: "Due to a points failure at Worcester Shrub Hill some lines are blocked. Train services between Worcester Shrub Hill and Gloucester via Cheltenham Spa may be cancelled, delayed or revised.
"Train services between Worcester Shrub Hill and Oxford may be cancelled, delayed or revised Disruption is expected until 1pm."
One rail traveller said: "Got to Worcester Parkway, got delayed 10.51 (which was 80 mins late) GWR Great Malvern train, which has now been cancelled at Shrub Hill and everyone turfed off, with next service an hour away so obviously still problems."
