Worcestershire residents are being encouraged to nominate their favourite charities to receive a festive financial boost.
Benefact Group's Movement for Good Awards is set to give away £120,000 as part of its annual 12 Days of Giving Christmas campaign.
For 12 days leading up to Christmas, the financial services group will give £1,000 to 10 charities each day, allowing 120 charities to benefit from the festive boost.
Nominations are now open, and residents of the county are being urged to nominate their chosen cause, giving them a chance to receive a share of the award money.
The draws are set to take place every weekday from Thursday, December 5 to Friday, December 20.
Nominations can be made on the online form on the Movement for Good website.
The winners will be drawn at random, but the more times a charity is nominated, the better its chances of being selected.
Last year, more than 5,000 people from the county nominated charities, resulting in two community causes receiving donations.
Worcester Area Group U3A, a charity supporting people no longer in full-time work, and Heartstart Malvern, which aims to increase out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival rates, both benefitted from £1,000 each last year.
Mark Hews, group chief executive of the group, said: "We’re delighted to be giving away another £120,000 in valuable donations to causes around the country.
"We know that charities across the country are struggling, and for many, the festive season is a critical time.
"We’re asking residents to take a few minutes of their time to nominate a cause they especially care about.
"We know that £1,000 can make a huge difference to the incredible work that charities do, and we’re looking forward to seeing how this financial boost will change lives for the better."
The group, the third-largest corporate donor in the UK, has donated more than £200 million to charitable causes since 2014, and aims to reach £250 million in donations by 2025.
Earlier this year, 370 £1,000 awards were donated, followed by £250,000 of special grants.
Up to £500,000 in larger grants was also given in October.
