A school has opened an "inspiring" accessible garden space dedicated to a former student.
Vale of Evesham School celebrated the opening of 'Steven's Space', named after former student Steven Paxford, on Wednesday, November 20.
Steven, who died at the age of 17 while in his final year at the school, wanted to create an accessible and inspiring garden space in the school's central courtyard.

After his death, students, teachers, and support staff worked together to develop a plan based on his vision.
The project received significant donations from community companies and organisations, including Walsh Mushrooms, Prima Fruit, and Fladbury Church and Community Group.
The school also secured grants from Tesco Community Grant, Worcestershire County Council, and Kew Gardens, which helped reach the project target.
Henson Plant Hire was the first to start the transformation.
After a few months of hard work, the area was completed.
Visitors to the grand opening included Steven's family, donors, former students and friends of Steven, as well as school governors and staff.
Headteacher Brian Thomas, along with Steven's former teachers and teaching assistants, Laura Webster and Katie Reynolds, gave speeches, celebrating Steven's vision and the effort of those who made the project a reality.
Steven’s parents, Denise and Steve Paxford, officially opened the garden.
The new horticultural, nature, and wellbeing area is expected to benefit students for many years to come.
