A MAN has been arrested after stealing from shops in Evesham.
Evesham's new town centre police team caught the man on November 21 and arrested him in regard to eight different incidents of stealing from shops.
All the thefts occurred in the last two weeks and he has since been charged.
Adam Johns, one of three officers in Evesham's Town Centre Team, said: "On Thursday November 21 2024 Evesham Town Centre Team located and arrested a male for eight thefts.
"These thefts occurred in the town centre over the last couple of weeks.
"He was interviewed regarding these offences and has since been charged and remanded to the court.
"The stores have been fully updated and are pleased with the result."
