A MAN has been arrested after police conducted a stop and search in a Cotswold town.
Drugs and a large amount of cash were found in a car driving through Moreton on Tuesday (November 19).
A further search of the driver's home found more drugs along with a collection of zombie knives.
The man, who police describe as local, was arrested for drug driving and possession with intent to supply controlled drugs but has since been released under investigation.
A Gloucestershire Constabulary spokesperson said: "Acting on some intelligence the officers located and stopped a local driver, found his drugs, a large amount of cash suspected to be the proceeds of crime and then secured a positive roadside drugs wipe from the driver.
"The man was arrested for drug driving and possession with intent to supply controlled drugs.
"A subsequent search of his home resulted in further seizures of controlled drugs, class A and B, along with a collection of 'zombie' knives.
"Our suspect spent the night in custody and has been interviewed today by colleagues at Compass House police station.
"He's now been released under investigation so that we can conduct forensic and financial enquiries and to examine his mobile devices for further evidence of drug dealing."
