DRUGS and money were seized from a house in Evesham's town centre in a daring raid after being tipped off by nearby residents.
The Town Centre Team and Safer Neighbourhood Team were joined by the Crime Fighting Team and Thor the police dog on Friday morning (November 22).
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "The residential address was searched by the officers who located an amount of suspected cannabis, weighing scales, cash and various other drug paraphernalia."
A man was arrested by officers on suspicion of possession and intent to supply.
He has been taken in to custody and will be interviewed by police.
The spokesperson added: "We would like to thank the public for the intelligence received which assisted in the warrant being granted.
"You can help us deal with drug crime and the associated anti-social behaviour that goes with it.
"The public are our eyes and ears, and no one knows better than the residents what is going on in the community."
If you suspect that someone is involved in drug crime, any information can be passed to the police by calling 101 or by anonymously contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
