SHOCKING images have revealed some of the dangerous knives that have been taken off of Evesham's streets.
On Saturday, November 16, several knives were surrendered at Evesham Police Station.
Images released by the police reveal some of the large blades that were handed in.
All of the knives will now be destroyed and taken off the streets.
The knives were surrendered as part of Operation Sceptre Week, whereby police and communities across the UK tackle knife crime.
Justine Lane, the safer neighbourhood constable for Evesham Town South and Rural West, said: "These weeks are about prevention, education and enforcement using a concentrated effort to make a measurable impact on reducing knife crime.
"We want to send a clear message that Police are actively working to protect communities from knife-related violence."
