SUSPECTED illegal cigarettes have been found on a roof at the back of an Evesham store following a major warrant.

Suspected stolen bottles of alcohol and illegal tobacco products were seized during warrants at Mini Market Evesham and First Choice Off Licence on Port Street.

Nothing was found in the mini market store but three holdall-size bags with suspected illegal cigarettes and illicit tobacco pouches with a £2,500 estimated street value were found on a roof at the back of the property.

No arrests were made but the counterfeit tobacco products have been seized by Trading Standards who are investigating the matter further.
