A Christmas craft fair has raised nearly £2,000 for charity.

Cosy Hearts Crafts held their 13th annual Charity Christmas Craft Fair at Leedons Park near Broadway on Saturday (November 9) in aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Cotswold Riding for the Disabled.

The event raised £1,938 on the day.

With other fundraising from craft events, plant selling, and donations, Cosy Heart Crafts and Charity Plants Evesham are on target to hand over cheques for more than £1,500 each to the two charities in the new year.

Organiser Mandy Edwards, of Celandine Way, Evesham, said: "Over the last 20 years, we have fundraised for Birmingham Children’s Hospital as our daughter, Bethan (20), received life-saving care from them throughout her young life.

"Bethan now enjoys horse riding at Cotswold RDA, so helping these two charities thrive continues to be our aim.

"I can’t thank enough all my ‘Mandy’s Little Helpers’ and four generations of my family."
