AN AWARD winning Japanese restaurant from Worcester is opening its second location.
Maneki Ramen has announced that it will open a location in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham in Spring 2025.
The restaurant, based in The Arches on Cherry Tree Walk, won Japanese Restaurant of the Year at the Asian Restaurant and Takeaway Awards 2023.
The new venue will create 20 new jobs and the team will be led by head chef Pete Dovaston, who learnt his craft will living in Tokyo.
Mr Dovaston said: "Birmingham has a vibrant foodie scene, so opening a new restaurant in the city has been one of our business aspirations for some time.
"The new restaurant will be in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, we can't wait to become part of the community and bring all the Maneki dishes people know and love, as well as some extra new and exciting ones."
