Evesham Balti first opened in 2000, but Mr Miah would not take over the business until 2009, when he became the owner and chef.

The restaurant provides a range of authentic and imaginative traditional Indian and Bangladeshi fusion dishes.

Mr Miah said his experience working in restaurants helped him to transform the business: "I've honed my recipes and style of cooking over the years, learning on the job and adding my own take on the dishes, many of which I created from scratch.

"I'm really proud of the staff and the way the business has gone from strength to strength."
