Mary
Age – 11 years
Breed – Greyhound
Mary is looking for a retirement home after coming into Dogs Trust’s care through no fault of her own.
She can live with secondary school aged children and another dog if they have a successful mix at the centre.
Mary can get worried around visitors so she’ll need a safe space to retreat to if needed.

Marshall
Age – 8 years
Breed – Beagle/Pug cross
Marshall needs a home where there are no very young children but he could live with secondary school aged children.
He could live with another dog if they mix well at the centre but he would be equally happy living without a canine companion.
Marshall would like an enclosed garden so he has somewhere to play.

Things to consider before adopting a pet
Herman
Age – 5 years
Breed – German Shepherd
Herman would like to live in a quiet home that’s adult-only as he can get overwhelmed sometimes.
He needs to be the only pet in his new home and he’ll need a secure garden where he can fully relax as he can get worried by other dogs when out walking.
Herman is on medication for his skin which is likely to be the case for his lifetime but the centre encourages potential adopters to still apply if this is the only barrier to them so they can discuss options.

Henrietta
Age – 5 years
Breed – Foxhound
Henrietta is best suited to a home with secondary school aged children and she could share her new home with another dog if they mix well at the centre.
She was found as a stray and needs a family who can help her continue improving her house-training, walking on a lead and her time left alone.

Pepsi
Age – 4 years
Breed – Crossbreed
Pepsi is looking for an adult-only home with no visiting children.
She can have dog friends to enjoy walks with at a distance but she needs to be the only pet in the home. She is fully muzzle trained as she can be reactive while on walks.
Pepsi must have a secure garden with high fences as she has tried to jump 7ft fences in the past.

Carter
Age – 4 years
Breed – Jack Russell Terrier cross
Carter is looking for a quiet and adult-only home as he has some sensitivity to noise and can get overwhelmed.
He will need help with training surrounding resource guarding which the Dogs Trust team can help with.
Carter will need to be the only pet in his new home but he can share walks with well-matched dog friends.

Tilly
Age – 4 years
Breed – Border Collie
Tilly can be anxious at times so she’s looking for a quiet and adult-only home that’s ideally located in a rural area as she likes the peacefulness of countryside life.
She needs her own space to retreat to as she has some worries over handling and can struggle to share her sleeping spots.
Tilly needs to be the only pet in her new home but she can enjoy walks with dog friends – she will need to meet them while on leads first.

Bibi
Age – 6 years
Breed – German Shepherd
Bibi came back to Dogs Trust after a few years of living on a farm due to her owner going into a care home.
She is looking for a quiet home where only adults live and she can’t share her new home with any other pets.
Bibi doesn’t like the company of other dogs so will be best suited to a home in a low dog populated area.

Freddie
Age – 6 years
Breed – French Bulldog

Freddie is looking for a home where he can enjoy snuggles but also continue his training. He’d like to have a secure garden.
He needs a home where there are no young children as he can get worried about intense handling, however, living with older teenagers would work well for him.
Freddie needs to be the only pet in his new home as he can get frustrated and reactive when he sees dogs out and about.
