A CAR crashed into a tree and caught fire on a busy road in Evesham.
Nobody was injured in the crash in Cheltenham Road with police and fire crews called to the scene.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: One crew from Evesham Fire Station was called at 5.16pm on Tuesday (October 1).
"A car had been in collision with a tree.
"No persons were trapped but airbags had been deployed giving a smoke effect.
"There were no casualties."
Police were called first but no arrests were made.
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We received a call around 5.10pm yesterday afternoon (October 1) with a report of a road traffic collision on Cheltenham Road, Evesham.
"Officers attended the incident to find a car had collided with a tree.
"Thankfully, no injuries to report."
