SIX pubs in and around Evesham have featured in a prestigious guide.
Six pubs in and around Evesham feature in CAMRA's The Good Beer Guide 2025, published by the Campaign for Real Ale, to celebrate the best places across the country to enjoy real ales and ciders.
The pubs in and around Evesham which feature in the guide are: The Fleece Inn in Bretforton, Crown and Trumpet Inn in Broadway, The Swan Inn in Birlingham, The Red Lion in Evesham, The Trumpet Inn in Evesham and Millers Arms in Pershore.
Lots of other pubs across the county also made the list with pubs in Worcester, Stourport, Kidderminster, Redditch, Bewley, Knightwick, Malvern and Tenbury all earning a spot.
Tom Doggett, landlord of The Red Lion, said: "Obviously we are very happy to be back in the guide again.
"It's my second year at the pub and the second time we have been featured.
"The accolade definitely attracts people into the pub, I've had people come on the train from Worcester and further away just to visit us.
"It also drives people into the town centre as they often try more than one pub.
"I'd put our success down to having a lot of good local beers but also all the hard work we put in.
"I was quietly confident we would make it into the guide as a lot of Camra members have said we have quality beers.
"We even had to increase our selection of real ales from four to five earlier this year because they were in such high demand."
This year's The Good Beer Guide has unveiled dual covers featuring two famous TV pubs, Coronation Street’s Rover’s Return and Emmerdale’s Woolpack.
The Campaign for Real Ale’s (CAMRA) Good Beer Guide is described as 'the UK’s best-selling beer and pub guide' which is celebrating its 52nd edition.
The Guide, which surveys 4,500 of the best pubs across the UK, is the described by CAMRA as the 'definitive beer drinker’s guide for those seeking the best pints in the nation’s pubs.'
