An award-winning comedian is set to perform in Evesham next year as part of her biggest tour yet.

Sophie McCartney, renowned for her online sketches as 'Tired and Tested', will be performing her new show, 'One Foot In The Rave' following her record-breaking debut international tour in 2023 and 2024.

The new show promises to tackle the next stage in McCartney's life and ponder questions about the transition from youth to middle age.

McCartney said: "I’m so excited to be heading out on tour again, if nothing else – so I get four nights a week in a hotel room on my own.

"This show is really close to my heart, and whether you’re at the same stage of life as me, a little further on, or worried about getting anywhere near middle age – I want you to leave thinking ‘Wow, it’s really not that bad… and also, salmon sperm under the eyes…who knew?!’"

She added: "The energy of the last show was incredible, and this time I’m going one slippered step further.

"I like to think of myself as the ultimate instigator of the mum’s night out.

"So sort your babysitter, sink some prosecco, and I’ll do the rest… apart from hold your hair back."

The comedian, author, and podcaster is considered a rising star on the UK comedy circuit and is a Funny Women award-winner for Best Comedy Series.

She is also the author of two Sunday Times Number One bestsellers.

Her debut stand-up tour 'Tired and Tested' in March 2023 sold out in less than 24 hours, making it Live Nation’s fastest-selling debut tour for a female comedian.

Due to extraordinary demand, the tour was extended from 15 dates to 63 dates across the UK.

After the response from UK fans, McCartney debuted her first international leg of the tour in Australia and New Zealand where she performed in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth.

She is also the host of podcast, Tired and Tested, which flew into number five on the UK comedy charts on release.

She will perform at The Regal on Saturday, March 29.

Tickets will be available from Friday (September 27) on the Live Nation website.
