A FLOOD alert has been issued for the River Avon and Evesham could be impacted.
River levels are rising at the Evesham river gauge as a result of heavy rainfall.
This comes amid a yellow weather warning which has been put in place across Worcestershire.
A statement on the Gov.uk website said flooding of roads and farmland is expected from 5pm today (Monday, September 23).
It is expected flooding will affect low lying land and roads adjacent the River Avon from Abbotts Salford to Tewkesbury.
Other locations that may be affected include Evesham, Offenham, Twyning and the Eckington Road.
Mill Bank Road from Jubillee Bridge to Fladbury is also impacted.
The statement added: "Further heavy rainfall is forecast over the next eight hours.
"We are closely monitoring the situation. Our incident response staff are checking defences.
"Please plan driving routes to avoid low lying roads near rivers, which may be flooded."
