A lecture exploring the decorative arts of Chinese history is coming to Evesham.
In 'Fu Lu Shou', Peter Le Rossignol will take the audience on a journey from Peking to Shanghai, revealing the secrets of Ming dynasty porcelain manufacture, Han bronze casting, and early Ching cinnabar lacquer.
The talk will also cover the influence of salt merchants on the jade and book trade in 18th-century China.
With 40 years of lecturing experience, Le Rossignol is a well-known figure in the field of art history.
The lecture will take place from 7.45pm to 9.30pm on Wednesday, October 2 at The Henrician.
