THREE Chinook helicopters were seen flying in formation over Worcester as part of a training exercise.
The RAF and US Army aircraft were spotted flying in convoy over the city and the rest of the county on Thursday afternoon (September 12).
They were filmed flying over Worcester and were also spotted over Peopleton, near Pershore.
While one is an RAF Chinook, the other two belong to the US Army having been transported to the UK on Tuesday, September 3 as part of a training exercise named Dark Lightning.
The two US helicopters were transported from Hunter Army Airfield in Georgia to RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk.
The video captures the three helicopters flying overhead south of Worcester city centre from the east before disappearing into the distance.
The Chinook is best known as a support helicopter operated from land bases or ships into a diverse range of environments, and plays a key role in responding to emergencies.
