A TODDLER had to be rescued from a locked car in a village near Evesham.
The two-year-old girl got trapped in the car on New Road, Pebworth yesterday (Wednesday, September 11) and needed the fire service to help get her out.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Pebworth Fire Station was called at 3.32pm.
On arrival, they found a two-year-old girl locked in the car.
The fire crew managed to get the girl out of the car and she was released into the care of her parents.
There were no casualties and no other emergency services were required, and at 4.02pm the incident was marked as pending closure.
