PEOPLE will be able to visit historic locations for free during this year's Heritage Open Days.
While little will be available in Evesham, there will be plenty of opportunities to visit landmarks in nearby towns and villages.
Here is what will be available around Evesham in 2024:
St James Church, Badsey, WR11 7EJ
The church, parts of which were first built in the 12th century, will show its long and storied history for Heritage Open Days.
Members of the Badsey Bellringers will take visitors on a tour of the bell tower, where the church's six bells are housed as well as recently uncovered medieval graffiti.
Guided walks starting from the church will also take groups around the historic buildings at 11am and 2pm.
The church will be open between 10am and 4pm on Saturday (September 7) and Sunday (September 8).
Gordon Russell Design Museum, Broadway, WR12 7AP
A museum dedicated to the pioneering furniture designer Sir Gordon Russell will offer free entry.
Russell's Grade II listed former workshop, where over 250 skilled craftsmen worked at the pinnacle of design in Britain, now takes visitors through the life of the designer and his company.
Entry to the museum will be free on Saturday, September 14, between 10am and 3.30pm.
Hidcote Manor Gardens, Chipping Campden, GL55 6LR
The gardens of Hidcote will open to the public for free during two Heritage Open Days at the manor.
Visitors can stroll through the gardens and enjoy the scenery of the Cotswold landscape.
Hidcote's garden guides will also lead people through the history and importance of the gardens in talks held throughout the days.
Free entry to the gardens will be available on Friday (September 6) and Saturday (September 7) between 10am and 5pm, with last entry at 4pm.
St James Church, Chipping Campden, GL55 6JG
Famous for its construction thanks to funding from wool farmers and merchants in the medieval era, St James Church's story will be on full display for visitors.
Guides will give talks explaining the history while visitors explore the church and its grounds.
The church will be open on Saturday (September 7) and Sunday (September 8).
