SUCCESS was on the timetable for youngsters in Evesham and Pershore as they found out how they did in their GCSE exams.

TDMS Year 11 students and staff are celebrating following the release of the GCSE results. 

Successes include Georgi Blazhev, Tommy Hurst, Amy Hunn and Theo Clayton who between them achieved eight grade 9s,11 grade 8s and 9 grade 7s.

Headteacher Ruth Allen said: “The commitment and resilience of our students never fails to amaze me and today our students have been rewarded for their continued hard work and determination with excellent results.

Meanwhile, Prince Henry's High School is delighted with the wonderful results of its students. 

The school's top performer, Jackson Carter, achieved an impressive 10 Grade 9s.  

Overall, 68 per cent of students achieved five or more GCSEs at Grade 4 and above, including English and Maths.

"Our Year 11 students have been a delightful and resilient group of young people who thoroughly deserve the exceptional academic success they have achieved. 

"Our motto at Prince Henry’s is “Great things from small things grow”, and the GCSE achievements this week, coupled with our A-Level results last week, are a testament to this.  

"The GCSE and A-Level results, are a tribute to the incredible hard work and dedication of the students, staff, parents/carers and the governing body.

Over at Pershore High School, 69 per cent of grades were awarded at 4+, 53 per cent at 5+ and 20 per cent of grades were achieved at 7+.

Overall, 64 per cent of students achieved 5 grades at 4+.

Head of School, Andrew Nockton said: "I am so pleased to congratulate our fabulous students on their great GCSE results. 

"They have worked very hard and this has paid off with really well-deserved results."
