An audience will learn their Rubens from their Rembrandt at an upcoming lecture on five centuries of art.
The Arts Society Evesham & Pershore will host the session on 15th to 18th-century artists.
The lecture will be presented by Chantal Brotherton-Ratcliffe, who studied at Edinburgh and Warburg Institute, will decipher the distinctive quirks and characteristics of artists like Van Dyck, Mantegna, Bellini, Canaletto and Gainsborough.
Employing enlarged photos of painting details, she will teach tricks for recognising artists from their works.
The lecture will be at The Henrician in Evesham at 7.45pm on Wednesday, September 11.
