A POPULAR car show as a big hit once more.
The Broadway Car Show went off without a hitch last weekend (August 17/18) in what are the two busiest days for businesses in the village as thousands of visitors stopped by to view the rare and exotic vehicles.
The show "which puts Broadway on the map" brought over 10,000 people to the village last year and organisers predict that that number might have been higher.
Julian Lloyd, owner of Broadway business, The Man Cave, and organiser of The Broadway Car Show, said: "It was incredible, it was by far the biggest event we have put on and I'm gobsmacked by how many people turned up.
"I'm still trying to come to terms with how busy it was but there were several thousand over the two days and I wouldn't be surprised is we exceeded our best year.
"I think a lot of people were blown away with the amount of rare, unusual and expensive cars that the drivers had kindly put on show, especially those who let visitors interact and look inside them."
The Broadway Car Show had 75 hand-picked cars, combined worth millions of pounds, visit the village each day.
August 17 was Supercar Saturday and August 18 was Sporting Classics Sunday.
Mr Lloyd continued: "Both days were equally as good as each other, I'm over the moon and it was great to have so many quality car companies such as Porsche, Bentley and Aston Martin support the event.
"The weather was perfect, it wasn't too hot, last year was too hot it was 30 degrees and a few people had sunstroke.
"We also had the vampire jet car that Richard Hammond famously crashed.
"The event puts Broadway on the map and has long term benefits for the village.
"New people visit and upon realising how beautiful it is return again and again.
"It was the biggest event Broadway has ever seen, so I'm not sure how we will top it in two years time, but I'm sure we will."
