Father Brown cast filming at The Fleece near Evesham

The actors, which include Mark Williams, were filming for season 12 at The Fleece Inn in Bretforton from July 30 to August 1. 

The scenes appeared to show the cast filming in an open space and eating under a marque. 

A vintage van labelled Coulson and Warby was also pictured. 

Nigel Smith, landlord of The Fleece Inn said: "They were filming Father Brown for there to four days and we shut the pub during the day to accommodate them. 

"It was a whole bunch of fun and they were some great people to work with. 

"They enjoyed the pub and a number of actors including Mark Williams were very complimentary. 

"It is not the first time they have been in the village but it is their first time at the pub. 

"The pub is made for period drama so we didn't have to change that much."

The cast is commonly seen in Blockley in the Cotswolds but has also been caught filming further away in Worcester.

Father Brown, which is produced by the BBC, is currently filming its twelfth season and is about a roman catholic priest played by Mark Williams who solves crime.

Williams, who has played Father Brown for over a decade, is probably best known for playing Ron Weasley's father, Arthur in the Harry Potter series. 

Speaking back in April when filming commenced on the twelfth series, Mark Williams said: “As we start the twelfth season of Father Brown I feel like I’m starting to get to know him.

"He’s a mysterious sort of bloke, the sort of person who you can never predict other than knowing he won’t do what you expect.

"The best thing about playing the character is that I am never, ever bored by him.”

Father Brown, which first aired on BBC Daytime in 2013, is now a global success with 120 episodes made. Father Brown’s 11th series recently concluded on screen and averaged 2.5 million viewers.
