POLICE have cordoned off a suitcase that was left unattended for several hours.
The case was padlocked and left outside Epicentre on Broadway High Street.
Ellie Sullivan, who works at the nearby Beau Boo Beauty, noticed the suspicious-looking item at about 9am."
Mrs Sullivan was unimpressed by the slow reaction from authorities: "The police were first called around 9am but only arrived at around 2.30pm.
"One person called 999 but was told to call 101 instead."
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to the High Street in Broadway this afternoon (Wednesday, August 7) at around 2pm, following a report of an old-fashioned style suitcase which had been left unattended.
"There is currently a cordon in place, with officers on scene awaiting a specialised team for further inspection."
