A 38-year-old man has been banned from driving after he was clocked speeding on the M5 near Worcester following 'repeat' motoring offences.
Lee O'Brien was behind the wheel of a Mercedes when was caught by an automatic camera device on the M5 near Worcester.
The case against O'Brien was heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday, July 25.
O'Brien exceeded a temporary 60mph speed limit restriction on the M5 southbound near junction 8 (Strensham).
The case against O'Brien of William Jessop Way, Liverpool was proved via the single justice procedure on June 20.
He was fined £220, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £88 and costs of £90.
A collection order was made, giving the court extra powers to recover the money.
O'Brien was disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence for 24 months.
The disqualification was deemed 'obligatory due to repeat offending'. For this latest speeding offence he received three penalty points.
