REPAIRS will be carried out to the entrance of Evesham’s Library Arcade.
Wychavon District Council has approved plans to carry out work on 62 High Street, which contains the coach entrance to the shopping arcade.
The ground floor unit is currently empty but the owner wants to improve the appearance of the arcade and attract new retailers to the area.
District planners said the proposals would “result in the rejuvenation of the existing arcade and shop front in a manner which is sympathetic to the identified heritage assets”.
Evesham Town Council was also in favour of the plans.
