An EVESHAM town centre pub which has shown every game of the Euros has had to turn people away after reaching 'full capacity' for the final.
The Valkyrie Bar in Evesham's Market Square has shown every game of the Euros and has seen an increase in trade throughout the football tournament.
Staff at the pub had noticed that trade was particularly good during the England games, saying that "it had been fantastic to witness".
Becki Stean, events and marketing manager at The Valkyrie, said: "We have shown all of the Euros games, we have seen an increase in customers especially during the England games on nights that would otherwise be fairly quiet like a Sunday.
"We got a good turnout for all of the England games to be honest through all stages, this obviously increased as the stages went on leading to us being at full capacity for the final and having to turn people away.
"This year we have begun to show more sporting events on TV and up the sporting events we hold at The Valkyrie, so showing the Euros fell in line with this."
The Valkyrie installed a 4.5m x 2.5m screen to go alongside their usual screens just for the football tournament making "watching the tournament at The Valkyrie different to watching a TV screen".
Mrs Stean continued: "The atmosphere has been amazing, the support throughout for the Euros has been fantastic to witness.
"Obviously, the best atmosphere has been when England have won their games.
"I believe coming out to the pub with your family or mates to support our country in games like the Euros can be an experience, to be part of a crowd of people all supporting the same team and wanting the same outcome and then when they score and the pub comes alive it truly is something amazing to be a part of.
"We have had a lot of regulars and seen a lot of new faces at The Valkyrie throughout showing all the Euro games.
"We hope for the right outcome for England and we hope they bring it home this year but time will tell."
Although England made it to the final on Sunday (July 14), the Three Lions could not beat Spain and lost 2-1.
