An Evesham haulier will provide vehicles and drivers for the upcoming Worcester Carnival.
Marshall’s Transport is offering free transport and drivers for the event, which is on Saturday (July 6).
The company has been providing services across Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and the wider West Midlands and South West since 1945.
The company's commercial director and owner, Brian Simpson, said: "There will be four of our drivers there, early start and late finish, to support the local community."
He added: “It’s a fantastic event and one we’re proud to support. As a family-run firm, it’s really important to us to play an active role in our community on days like these.
“We also support the carnivals in Pershore and Evesham and we’re providing a free trailer for Freedom Fields Festival at The Farm Animal Sanctuary, which also takes place this weekend.
“We hope everyone who comes along to the carnival enjoys their day and the great British weather plays ball.”
The company is offering its services to community organisations such as Beatbreakerz School of Dance, St John Ambulance and Lollipop Youth Theatre.
This marks the fourth year the business has contributed to the carnival, which saw over 30 entries in 2023, ranging from lorry floats to vintage cars.
The carnival parade is set to commence at 3pm on Saturday, with performances in Cathedral Square from 11am to 3pm.
There will also be a free carnival village on Pitchcroft from 11am to 7pm.
