MYSTERY surrounds the disappearance of a driver after a car crashed into a lamppost in Worcestershire.
Police and fire crews had searched high and low for the driver of a vehicle after a car crashed into a lamppost in Kemerto, near Bredon.
Fire crews have used a thermal imaging camera and a drone to try and find the individual.
Worcester News has contacted West Mercia Police for a comment.
A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "An HWFR crew from Evesham, plus the incident support unit and drone from Ledbury, were called at 2.01pm on June 29 to make a vehicle safe after a road traffic collision in Kemerton.
"The incident involved one vehicle which had been in collision with a lamp-post.
"There were no persons trapped and the vehicle was made safe by fire service personnel who also assisted police in a search for the missing driver using a thermal imaging camera and the drone."
