A leading figure in the world of Barbershop singing in the UK will be in the audience at a fundraising concert in Church Lench at the end of this month.
Shanna Wells, who is the Chair of the British Association of Barbershop singers (BABS), is attending the concert which features the Pershore-based barbershop chorus Vale Harmony The A Cappella Fellas.
Vale Harmony is one of 60 choruses affiliated to BABS, which is celebrating it’s 50th Anniversary this year.
During the year, Shanna is aiming to visit every one of the barbershop choruses around the country.
Shanna Wells said: “I am delighted to be able to visit Vale Harmony during my ‘BABS Chorus Tour’ over our 50th year.
”We have an exciting year planned with many events happening all over the UK.
"Our members and clubs are what makes the organisation so special and I am so pleased I am able to visit them all in person over the year.”
Vale Harmony will be performing at the Church Lench Flower Festival concert on June 28 from 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £10.
