A WORCESTERSHIRE reindeer cafe has expanded to offer more than just your typical cup of coffee and food.

Rise & Grind in Bishampton, a cafe known for offering visitors a chance to meet real reindeer, has opened a new homeware and lifestyle store on its site.

Owner Josh Palmer has teamed up with Linda Rimell, who will run her store Caribou, which is just a stone's throw away from the cafe.

The store aims to pay homage to the site's unique reindeer experience while offering visitors a chance to buy items they may like when they have food in the cafe.

As well as selling products that will be featured in the cafe, Mrs Rimell has also offered other unique gifts in her store that she said many customers may not be able to buy anywhere else.

She previously owned the Christmas Shop on site before Rise & Grind took over the land and she is excited to join forces with Mr Palmer on this new venture.

"It has been a combination of being terrified and excited - I love it and know everyone will also love it," she said.

"I think it (the store) does brands people know and it is not just a stand-alone store.

"We have a destination where people can come for a day, and it is a nice day out - we have a cafe and reindeer."

Rise and Grind welcomed its first load of customers on October 4, 2023, and has since been a popular cafe across Worcestershire.

The interior of the cafe resembles the outdoors, and an olive tree with seating wrapped around it sits in the middle of the restaurant.

It is a similar interior that Mrs Rimell wanted to carry into her store.

"Somethings in the cafe we will sell like paintings, and the areas flow through so you have some type of feeling as you come in."

Caribou is open to the public.
