A Pershore swimmer has been chosen to represent Great Britain.
David Annis, 18, has been selected to swim for Great Britain at the Junior Europeans in Lithuania at the beginning of July.
This isn't his first international rendezvous.
He swam for his country in December 2023 in Canada, bringing home five medals, including gold in the 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay where his team scooped a European junior record.
The recent British Championships saw him clinch a spot in the GB Junior team set to compete in Lithuania.
He will participate in the 400 and 200 individual medley, in addition to the 400 and 200 freestyle and the 4 x 200 freestyle relay.
Pershore Swimming Club head coach applauded the young talent saying: "David is a dedicated, hardworking athlete who has been a great role model to so many swimmers throughout the county.
"We wish him every success."
