SMOKE could be smelled from a street in Evesham city centre after a kitchen fire.
A small fire had started in the kitchen of a property on the High Street, and a small amount of smoke was removed through natural ventilation after the fire had gone out.
A Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Two crews – one each from Evesham and Upton-upon-Severn Fire Stations – were called at 13:55 on 8 June to a smell of smoke at a property in High Street, Evesham.
"A small fire in a kitchen had been extinguished before the arrival of the fire service and a small amount of smoke was removed by natural ventilation.
"There were no casualties and no other emergency services attended.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 2.13pm."
