Overbury is gearing up for its annual Street Market.
The Bredon Hill village will host the market on Saturday, July 13 from 10am until midday.
A highlight of the village's summer calendar, the event promises two hours of shopping and general engagement against a backdrop of stone cottages, the Norman St Faith’s Church and the 18th century Overbury Court.
The market has a rich history, running for over four decades and offers an opportunity to collect a broad range of unique items at bargain prices.
Organisers have a wide variety of stalls available, including the popular 'Going for a Song', which boasts a collection of all types of paraphernalia.
Other stalls will offer books, DVDs, plants, crafts, including homemade preserves, and the list goes on to even include exhibits from artists in the area.
Anne's Pantry will be offering a range of homemade cakes along with other delicacies.
Even more refreshments will be available at Berkeley House Garden.
The Friends of Overbury School will also be organising activities for children, and there will be a raffle with some prizes to be won.
The market has both free car parking and entry.
Organisers have noted that dogs will not be allowed to attend.
Should the weather become challenging, the market will be hosted in the Village Hall.
Proceeds from the market will be donated to St Faith's Church, the hall, and other parish organisations.
