There was a large police presence in Evesham town centre.
A man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
West Mercia Police received a report at 1.40pm this afternoon (June 4) of an assault on the High Street in Evesham.
One eyewitness stated five police vehicles were seen on the high street for around 40 minutes.
Officers are still on the scene.
