A hotel in a Pershore has been given five stars in a nationally recognised award.
The Angel Inn in Pershore announced that it had received the accolade from AA Hotel & Hospitality Services on May 28.
Holly Abbott, marketing executive at The Angel Inn hotel said: "Around three years ago we received a four star rating and a couple of months ago we found out we would be given five.
"It's fantastic, we are really proud to have been given the rating.
"We are the only hotel in Pershore to be rated five stars, hopefully it will attract more people to the town."
During the assessment process, representatives from AA secretly stay at the hotel as guest and rate the business on areas including the quality of the breakfasts and the room.
She continued: "It's fantastic that we are able to offer special luxury in Pershore.
"We have a lot of couples come and visit us for a luxury break to explore the area.
"I put our success down to the hard work of the team, the preparation that everyone does to make sure everything is running smoothly.
"We also have a new reception manager who is solely devoted to our guests instead of having to run the restaurant as well.
"The hotel has existed for as long as Pershore has and we have continued to grow our menu.
"We have received lots of likes and congratulations which is lovely.
"We try to make sure everyone has a good time at a good price range."
In a post on Facebook, the hotel said: "The Angel Inn Hotel proudly announces its recent certification as a Five-Star Inn by the esteemed AA Hotel & Hospitality Services.
"This is a testament to The Angel’s unwavering commitment to excellence and outstanding guest experiences.
"During the evaluation, an expert from the AA conducted an extensive review of The Angel, examining various aspects of its accommodations, hospitality, dining options and facilities.
"The assessment revealed excellent performance across all categories.
"The Angel maintains impeccable standards across its facilities.
"Public areas are meticulously kept, and housekeeping standards are nothing short of excellent.
"The Angel Inn Hotel is honoured to receive this prestigious recognition and this achievement reflects years of dedication to exceptional hospitality from all of The Angel’s staff."
