Head along to the upcoming stage adaptation of a hit 1990s BBC sitcom.

BAD Theatre (Bretforton Amateur Dramatics) is back, with 'Waiting for God', a comedy to be performed at the Bretforton Theatrebarn from Thursday 20 to Saturday, June 22.

This comedy is set at Bayview Retirement Village, and centres around Diana Trent, a feisty retiree who, with the help of fellow resident Tom Ballard, plans a comical revolt against a scheming retirement village manager.

The venue offers comfy seating and a raised auditorium, with a bar for pre and post-show drinks to be enjoyed either indoors or outdoors on the lawn.

Alice Heather, the chair of the theatre company, said: "Summer is a glorious time to visit Bretforton Theatrebarn and we're delighted to be back after our last sell-out production.

"'Waiting for God' promises to be our funniest show yet.

"If our audience has half as much fun as the cast, the residents of Bretforton and beyond are in for a great evening."

Performances of the show will kick off at 7.30pm on the evenings, with the bar opening from 6pm.
